YBOA GA SPRING TEAM LEAGUE

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Following BOYS ONLY age groups will be formed.
Expected age groups and nights (subject to change)
>11 Under	Current 5th Graders	Tuesday Nights
12 Under	Current 6th Graders	Monday Nights
13 Under	Current 7th Graders	Monday Nights
14 Under	Current 8th Graders	Monday Nights
15 Under	Current 9th Graders	Tuesday Nights
Varsity Boys: 16 & 17 Under	10 and 11 graders- NO 12th graders	Two VB leagues: Cobb & Cherokee Monday nights Cobb & Wednesday nights Cherokee
Varsity Girls: 15-17 Under	NO 12th Graders	Cherokee ONLY Mondays

Note: If there are not enough teams (at least 4) to form an age group, you may be asked to play up or receive a refund.

There will be two locations this year:

• Kell High School
• Cherokee High School
There will be NO guarantee that ALL games will be played at same locations every week.

RULES:
All players and coaches (3 coaches maximum) in the spring team must join YBOA ($ 13 per player/ $ 22 per coach) prior to playing any games. These teams may also play in weekend YBOA Tournaments. Players playing with another traveling YBOA team still have to pay the with his school team. Players can be added during the spring league season.

There will be a $ 1 admission charge to each game.

The season will run between March 22th and May 22th. The teams will play a ten game schedule, usually one game a week (there may be two games per week the last two weeks of the season and Varsity might play two games per week).

The games will be two 20 minute halves with a running clock except for the last 2 minutes of second half. ALL other High School rules will apply. There will be NO awards at the end, but the final few games will be played in a championship bracket format with seedings based on over all records of each team.

Cost for the league is $ 550.00. Fees must be paid in full prior to the first game.
Deadline to complete an application and send in a team roster with registration fees is March 1.
League schedule will be published around March 18th.
Games will be played at Kell High School and Cherokee High School.
All scores and standings will be posted on the YBOA GA web site
