How To Get Started With YBOA BOYS

1.Read our Rules and Regulations and YBOA GA Zero Tolerance Policy.

2. By entering a tournament you are verifying that you and your parents have read the rules and zero tolerance policies and will abide by them.

3. Register your association with YBOA. Go on line at YBOA National Office Association - $100.00 yearly
(Unless playing under a group association and fee already paid, supply us with the association number)

4. Register ALL coaches through YBOA Go on line at YBOA National Office
Coaches Application - $20.00 yearly (Max. of 3 per team)

5. Register ALL players with YBOA Go on line at YBOA National Office
Player Registration - $12.00 per player (max. of 15 per team)

How To Enter A Tournament

Entry Fee (cashier check or money order)
(Check 2008 Boys Schedule for contact person for each specific tournament)

Application and fee must be sent by deadline and the following must be sent one week prior to the tournament..

Before playing in first tournament the Ga. Office must have provided by you:

1.)Player registration MUST be entered on line at YBOA National Office. and MAILED to the GA Office for verification.

2.)Copy of Birth Certificate for each player (not returned) sent to the Georgia Office
3.)Copy of report card with grade listed for each grade exception player
(Maximum or 3 per team)
4.) Coaches MUST be Registered on line at YBOA National Office.

Once the GA Office has approved your player registration (1,2,3,4) you do not have to resubmit for another YBOA GA tournament unless you add players. However, a Qualifying Roster will need to be sent to the GA Office prior to playing in the State Tournament.

Create a YBOA PLAYER NOTEBOOK

We suggest the following to be included. This should be brought to all tournaments in the event a protest is brought against your team.

1. “Stamped Paid” player registration form. * or "on line" registration form with names of players listed.

2. Copy of all Birth Certificates*

3. Grade Exception, and report card *

4. Player Release form if applicable *

5. Coaches Card

6. Parent Consent Form (for team use ONLY do not send to GA or FL

7. Medical Release Form (for team use ONLY do not send to GA or FL

8 & Under, 2nd Grade Division................................. September 1, 1999
* Exception: A player that is in the 2nd grade and who was born on or after 9-1-98 can participate in this division.

9 & Under, 3rd Grade Division ..................................September 1, 1998
* Exception: A player that is in the 3rd grade and who was born on or after 9-1-97 can participate in this division.

10 & Under, 4th Grade Division .................................September 1, 1997
* Exception: A player that is in the 4th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-96 can participate in this division.

11 & Under, 5th Grade Division................................. September 1, 1996
* Exception: A player that is in the 5th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-95 can participate in this division.

12 & Under, 6th Grade Division.................................. September 1, 1995
* Exception: A player that is in the 6th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-94 can participate in this division.

13 & Under, 7th Grade Division................................. September 1, 1994
* Exception: A player that is in the 7th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-93 can participate in this division.

* Exception: A player that is in the 8th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-92 can participate in this division.

15 & Under, 9th Grade Division................................. September 1, 1992
* Exception: A player that is in the 9th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-91 can participate in this division.

16 & Under, 10th Grade Division ...............................September 1, 1991
* Exception: A player that is in the 10th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-90 can participate in this division.

17 & Under/11th Grade Division................................. September 1, 1990
* Exception: A player that is in the 11th grade and who was born on or after 9-1-89 can participate in this division.

All players participating under the grade eligibility exception must present a birth certificate and a confirmation of grade level from their school's administration office.

There is a maximum of three grade exception players per team and they must be in the gray shaded area provided on the player registration form. (Example: A player competing in the Boys 14 & Under Division may not turn 15 prior to September 1, 2007)
