GENERAL INFORMATION

This will be a league for both school teams and non school teams.

The Following age groups will be formed.

BOYS ONLY:

Expected age groups and nights (subject to change)

11 Under (Current 5^th Graders) Tuesday Nights

12 Under (Current 6^th Graders) Monday Nights

13 Under (Current 7^th Graders) Monday Nights

14 Under (Current 8^th Graders) Monday Nights

15 Under (Current 9^th Graders) Tuesday Nights

Varsity Boys (16 and 17 Under 10 and 11 graders- NO 12^th graders) Two leagues Cobb and Cherokee Monday nights Cobb and Wednesday nights Cherokee

Varsity Girls (15-17 Under- NO 12^th Graders) Cherokee ONLY Monday’s

Note: If there are not enough teams (at least 4) to form an age group, you may be asked to

play up or receive a refund.

There will be two locations this year:

Sprayberry HS and Cherokee High School,

There will NO guarantee ALL games will be played at these locations.

 RULES:

All players and coaches (3 coaches maximum) in the spring team must join YBOA ($12 per player/ $20 per coach) prior to playing any games. These teams may also play in weekend

YBOA Tournaments. Players playing with another traveling YBOA team still have to
pay the $12 with his school team. Players can be added during the spring league season.

There will be a $1 admission charge to the games..

The season will run between March 25^th and May 22^th. The teams will play a ten game schedule, usually one game a week (there may be two games per week the last two weeks of the season and Varsity might play two games per week).

The games will be two 20 minute half’s with a running clock except for the last 2 minutes
of second half. ALL other High School rules will apply.

There will be NO awards at the end, but the final few games will be played in a championship bracket format with seedings based on over all records of each team.

Cost for the league is $500.00. Fees must be paid in full prior to the first game.

Checks should be made payable to YBOA of GA.

Deadline to complete an application and send in a team roster with registration fees is
March 1.

League schedule will be published no later than March 18th.

Games will be played at Sprayberry High School and Cherokee High School.

 All scores and standings will be posted on the YBOA GA web site www.yboaga.org
